Talent Acquisition SpecialistBuyers Edge Platform ("BEP") was born out of the 20-year growth and success of its founding companies Dining Alliance, Buyers Edge and Consolidated Concepts. BEP is a technology enabled group purchasing network, which provides group purchasing services, SaaS based technology solutions, and supply chain consulting and procurement related services to foodservice operators across many verticals, including restaurants (independents as well as multiunit, chains and franchise concepts), hospitality (hotels, casinos, resorts), healthcare (LTC based operators), colleges & universities and array of other foodservice based operators (food trucks, caterers, amusement parks and other leisure based operators). BEP represents over $35 Billion in Network Transactions. We are committed and passionate about our mission to keep foodservice operators thriving by saving them money and increasing the quality of their products.This position is preferably hybrid based in one of our offices in Lake Worth, FL; Waltham, MA; or Chicago, IL office but it can also be remotely based. Periodic travel, up to 4-6x/year to events and to other company offices may be required. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the full life-cycle recruitment process for a variety of functions within our multiple brands, including the strategic sourcing, recruitment, assessment and selection of top talent. You will be instrumental in ensuring best practices are followed around candidate alignment to our guiding principles, as well as in offering an impeccable candidate and employee experience.Your impact:Strategic Talent Sourcing: Proactively identify, engage, and attract top-tier talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and specialized industry platforms. Develop appropriate job postings and campaigns, address any job profile and candidate pool disparities to ensure alignment.Partnership with Business Leaders: Collaborate closely with senior hiring managers, up to Executive level, to gain a deep understanding of their talent needs and work together to develop tailored recruitment strategies aligned with the company's objectives. Educate hiring managers regarding recruitment responsibilities, legal requirements, and candidate management.Innovative Talent Acquisition: Lead the development and execution of cutting-edge recruitment approaches to ensure a diverse and dynamic candidate pipeline. Continuously monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools to enhance the recruitment process.Recruiting Process: Ensure the high volume recruitment and selection process is running effectively, including timely hiring, application processing, interview and assessment planning, efficiency with screening and moving candidates through the recruitment process in a timely manner. Manage offer process, including salary recommendation/negotiation, and work with hiring managers, People Total Rewards and Business Partners to define and negotiate offers of employment and determine candidate start dates.Candidate Assessment & Selection: Conduct full-cycle recruitment and in-depth intake meetings that translate into effective candidate assessments, including interviews and skills evaluations to ensure the selection of top-tier talent. Conduct phone screens to qualify candidates against position requirements, present most qualified candidates to hiring manager, schedule interviews with hiring manager, and advise in the selection of qualified candidates.Champion Diversity and Inclusion: Actively seek out underrepresented talent and drive diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process, advocating for diversity in candidate pools. Follow a structured hiring process with the goal of reducing bias.Data-Driven Recruitment: Leverage data and metrics to analyze the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.Enhance Employer Brand: Play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our employer brand as an employer of choice and showcasing our unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion in all recruitment efforts. Promote evangelization of our brand across internal and external networks.Exceptional Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from initial application to onboarding, cultivating a robust talent community.Retention: Understand quality of hire to aid the sustainability of talent within the organization. Provide coaching and insight to hiring managers around selection decision to build retention throughout the organization.About you:A bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience in HR or related field.3-5 years of recruitment experienceProven success with full cycle, high volume recruiting for a broad range of rolesExperience utilizing and leveraging an ATS (preferably Greenhouse), as well as sourcing tools and LinkedIn RecruiterAdvanced candidate assessment capabilitiesExcellent organizational skillsSuperior ability to communicate both verbally and in writingStrong interpersonal, decision-making and negotiation skillsExcellent computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeUnderstand the importance of and drive an inclusive, structured hiring process that will reduce bias in hiring manager decision makingDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing business needsRelentless drive to improve efficiency for the team and all stakeholdersHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailDemonstrated ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlinesStrong initiative, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to work both as part of a team and independentlyA team player with exceptional interpersonal, presentation, influencing and communication skillsWhat's in this for you?Amazing coverages to start.
