Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Network Engineer to join our team. This role involves the design and operation of core IP network infrastructure within our client's datacenters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IP networking and telecom engineering, with experience in maintaining mission-critical network equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain core IP network infrastructure
Collaborate with the datacenter team to monitor and troubleshoot network equipment
Develop and enforce installation and operational standards

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience maintaining IP routing and switching equipment
Experience working with vendors to design solutions and install networking systems
Strong understanding of network fundamentals and protocols
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP, etc.)
Experience with firewalls and network monitoring tools
Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and virtualization technologies
Understanding of cyber security best practices
