WFM is building the foundations for some of the largest buildings in the world and most important equipment made out of steel. The more accurate and faster you weld, the higher your wage. We depend on your skill to produce quality parts to achieve fit, form, and function for specialized industries including naval/military work. Day and Afternoon shifts are available. Full and part-time positions available. American owned and operated company focused on re-building American manufacturing; 55 years strong.Minimum Qualifications3+ years of experience in the fabrication and welding of metal components3+ years of welding with • 1/16" and larger FCAW filler metals3+ years of welding with an additional process in GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, OR SAWAbility to weld and produce UT quality welds in the Flat, Horizontal, and vertical FCAW positionsAbility to read, understand and interpret blueprintsAbility to read, understand and apply WPS requirementsAbility to understand and interpret weld symbolsBasic knowledge of industry standards in welding and fabricationAbility to follow and practice safe working conditions and wear PPE at all timesMust supply own hand tools and toolboxMust be able to pass an annual vision test meeting Jarger Level II for AWS and ASME, and Level I for NAVSEAHas proven mechanical aptitude to operate welding equipment and various power toolsWillingness to learn new welding processes and equipmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to work from ladders and man liftsAbility to climb and work on fabricationsAbility to endure frequent standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and bendingAbility to lift a minimum of 60 lbsReliable and Trustworthy.
