Key Job Responsibilities Lead a team of financial analysts to develop comprehensive customer growth forecasts and strategic financial models. Partner with business teams to evaluate and validate strategic propositions. Craft compelling business cases that inform critical financial decisions. Enhance financial controllership through sophisticated reporting and process improvements. Leverage data‑driven insights to identify and implement strategic opportunities for optimization. Day in the Life Your day will blend strategic analysis, cross‑functional collaboration, and team leadership. You will engage with product and marketing teams, translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations that shape Amazon Music’s future. From developing comprehensive business cases to supporting critical product launches, you will be at the heart of our growth strategy. About The Team We are a collaborative finance team committed to driving Amazon Music’s success. Our approach emphasizes individual ownership balanced with collective support, creating an environment where innovative thinking and mutual growth are celebrated. We work closely across different finance specialties to deliver comprehensive financial strategies. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field. 5+ years of experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field. 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses. 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making. 2+ years of direct management experience. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of working with senior staff (e.g., C‑suite) experience. MBA or CPA. Experience with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MSAccess, Essbase, Cognos) and providing recommendations based on results of ad hoc analyses for strategic decision‑making. 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis. 3+ years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.).
