Come join us and make history. Amazon.com is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst on the Amazon Music Finance team. In partnership with business, operations, and technology teams throughout Amazon, this position will drive strategic initiatives to improve financial reporting and customer experience through automation, process improvements, and defects prevention. This role will engage with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to drive results. The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables. The right individual will have strong leadership skills and solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes. They will have operated successfully in a fast‑paced, global, results‑oriented environment. Come innovate with the Amazon Music team This position is located in San Francisco or Seattle. Key job responsibilities Driving planning and budgeting and related deliverables, and ensuring financial discipline and compliance. Prepare financial metrics, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish. Provide controllership over several variable costs of the business. Anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans; measure and analyze results; initiate corrective actions; minimize the impact of negative variances. 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience. 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience. 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience. 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience. Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence. Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes – 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience. MBA, or CPA. Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards). The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
