This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of driving cost-efficiency and process improvement across a dynamic supply chain.Projects You’ll Work OnLead the development and execution of purchasing strategies for raw materials, components, and third-party services.Serve as the Buyer/Planner for high-complexity or long-lead-time items, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.Improve vendor selection and negotiation processes to enhance delivery performance and cost controls.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to align purchasing activities with forecasted demand and product development cycles.Support ERP optimization efforts for accurate inventory tracking, order status, and purchasing analytics.Analyze global market trends for key commodities like steel and metals to inform pricing and inventory strategies.What Experience You Should BringBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.5+ years of progressive purchasing experience, ideally within the HVAC, industrial equipment, or thermal systems industries.Minimum of 5 years leading purchasing or supply chain teams, with proven ability to coach, develop, and manage performance.Strong understanding of ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.Adept at interpreting demand forecasts and translating them into strategic sourcing plans.Skilled in supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and contract management.Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.You’ll Thrive Here If You…Are a proactive planner who can anticipate material shortages before they impact production.Enjoy building and maintaining strategic supplier partnerships.Have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy working with data to drive decisions.Like working with engineering and operations teams to align purchasing strategies with business goals.Why Join Our Client?Our client offers the chance to contribute to a growing, technology-forward organization that values innovation and continuous improvement.
