OverviewThe Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a Senior Telco Advisory Consultant to shape and transform how enterprises leverage cloud technology. This strategic role will influence leaders across industries, market segments, and technical domains to drive transformative business outcomes. As a Senior-level advisor, you will identify patterns across customers, develop new architectural patterns, and create innovative capabilities that define the future of cloud adoption. You will work with stakeholders as trusted advisors providing guidance on industry trends, enterprise cloud transformation, and innovative cloud solutions, with responsibilities including sales support and ensuring alignment to customer business outcomes and value realization.The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts helping customers realize desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We collaborate with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives, delivering focused guidance through our global specialty practices across a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and delivering comprehensive business case analyses that demonstrate expected customer ROI, solution guidance, and implementation pathways for strategic cloud initiatives.Providing technical guidance and best practices during pre-sales and implementation phases.Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose innovative solutions.Scoping, sizing, and creating proposals in collaboration with ProServe Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable.Driving enterprise transformations leveraging cloud and emerging technologies through program management, value realization strategies, and cloud strategy development.Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.Creating scalable mechanisms and leading new initiatives that transform how customers adopt cloud technologies.QualificationsBasic Qualifications5+ years of experience in cloud transformation implementationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience3+ years of solutioning experience with two or more of the following: BSS/OSS systems, network operational intelligence, customer service capabilities, 5G network architecture or data analytics3+ years of solutioning experience assisting telecommunications and broadband service providers with building new or migrating existing workloads to AWS3+ years of experience with sales targets, business development, and driving customer satisfactionPreferred QualificationsAWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, Connect, RDS, Amazon Q)AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Machine Learning, Solutions Architect)Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience with emerging technologies such as GenAI and Agentic AI applications in industry-specific contextsStrong financial modeling and market research skills, with the ability to conduct operational impact assessmentsCompensationBase pay range: $138,200.00/yr - $239,000.00/yr. Pay is based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
