Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented, full-time and part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our school-based services team in the Lincoln, CA area. Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.

 

To qualify, applicants must: 

  • Have active state-level licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) 
  • Have experience working in schools or with children is a plus but not required 

 

What to expect from this role? 

  • Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, provide sensory integration, motor patterns and awareness of the external environment  
  • Develop/improve individual’s ability to independently perform tasks  
  • Serve as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with occupational therapy concerns  
  • Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan  
  • Maintain appropriate records  
  • Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist 
  • Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents  
  • Perform other COTA duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification 
  • Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
