Established in 2003, it continues to innovate in the sports marketplace and build solutions for an evolving world.QualificationsUndergraduate degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, Sports Management and/or CommunicationsGraduate or professional degree, or equivalent experience, recommended1-3 years of experience that provides aforementioned skills and abilitiesStrong ability to effectively communicate ideas in both a written and verbal settingExpert in industry knowledge and understanding of sports marketing vernacular and trendAbility to work well under pressure and deliver assignments under deadlineAbility to effectively and intelligently communicate with clients, internal strategy teams, alternate OMG SBU’s and other agencies as neededAbility, willingness, and flexibility to work beyond the normal hours of the traditional workday“Self-starter” traits are essentialHigh level of proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and online researchEfficiency, organization and ability to handle multiple tasksAbility to perform and thrive in both a structured and unstructured environmentStrong working knowledge and passion for global soccer landscape a plusPassion for the sport – potentially played collegiately or above and/or follow extensivelyStrong knowledge of European clubs and top 5 leagues, South American club competitions and national teams/tournamentsExperience in building out 360 marketing plans specifically surrounding the sportMedia partner expertise outside of the US a plusResponsibilitiesDevelop broad understanding of clients’ businesses and needsSolicit, evaluate, and negotiate sponsorship and media packages as they relate to overall client business strategies and/or client sports sponsorship assetsProactive in identifying new projects and business opportunities with existing clientsWork in direct cooperation with, and handle all strategy for, respective strategy teamsInteract with members of other SBU’s as the respective disciplines of those SBU’s are pertinent to proposed and executed sponsorship marketing strategiesServe as direct contact for other Omnicom marketing and creative agencies involved on sports business initiatives for each clientManage junior staff (1-3 personnel) and participate in evaluating existing staff and potential hiresBrief unit Directors to keep them engaged in client initiatives and manage Director demandsTravel as required (often on weekends) for presentations, meetings and eventsFormulate marketing strategies, evaluate sponsorship proposals, and manage client servicesDesign decks and documents that convey strategy with supporting researchProduce relevant research from databases, industry trades and other sourcesCompensation and BenefitsPay range: $50,000—$60,000 USD. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits. This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office with two (2) days remote.
