Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Lead with extensive experience in automation testing and API testing, specifically using the Karate framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the banking or financial services domain, with a preference for experience in the credit card sector.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and execution of automated test scripts for various applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
  • Design and implement automated tests for APIs using the Karate framework, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers in automation best practices, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute test strategies, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Generate testing metrics and reports to communicate test progress and quality status to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and implement new testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the testing process.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Automation testing using Selenium and API testing using the Karate framework.
  • Strong background in banking or financial services, with a focus on credit card processing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Groovy, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Experience with performance testing tools is a plus.
