Job Purpose
Responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of contracts within an organization including strategic development, detailed analysis, and effective negotiation of various contractual agreements. Ensure that these contracts are legally sound, aligned with the business objectives, and executed in a manner that safeguards the company's interests while promoting strong business relationships.
Job Dimensions and Business Metrics
- Highest level of confidentiality and access to information which unauthorized disclosure could be expected to have a severe or catastrophic adverse effect on organizational operations, organizational assets, or individuals.
Key Accountabilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.
- Prepares, drafts, and reviews various types of contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, service agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
- Ensures contracts are accurately written, reflecting the terms and conditions agreed upon by all parties.
- Engages in contract negotiations with external parties, working to achieve favorable terms and mitigating potential risks.
- Collaborates with legal, finance, and other departments to review contracts for compliance and alignment with organizational policies.
- Identifies potential risks and liabilities associated with contract terms and conditions.
- Provides recommendations and solutions to minimize contractual risks and protect the organization's interests.
- Maintains a centralized database or system for contract management, tracking key dates, milestones, and obligations.
- Monitors contract performance to ensure both parties are meeting their obligations.
- Maintains a comprehensive record of all contracts, amendments, correspondence, and related documents.
- Ensures that all contractual documentation is properly filed and easily accessible.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders, such as legal, procurement, sales, and operations teams, to ensure contracts meet business objectives and requirements.
- Serves as a point of contact for vendors, clients, and other parties involved in contractual
- agreements.
- Addresses inquiries, resolve disputes, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Monitors compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and deadlines.
- Identifies any deviations and work with relevant parties to address issues promptly.
- Strictly follows established environmental, health, safety and quality policies and procedures in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.
- Undertakes accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities.
- Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned.
- Performs any other relevant task as directed by Superintendent Contract & Procurement.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations and/or Experience
5-8 years of experience in Contract Management field preferably in oil & gas sector.
Academic background includes a minimum of a Bachelor degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or Supply Chain Management.
