Position Scope & Organizational Impact Moss’s Solar Senior Electrical Superintendents plan, schedule, organize and direct the construction of major solar projects. They are responsible for all field execution, supervising directly or through subordinates all field construction work by the company’s forces and subcontractors. Senior Superintendents coordinate the timely and cost‑effective placement of contracted work, ensure compliance with safety and quality control policies, and manage several Superintendents as direct reports. They oversee procurement, engineering schedules, and the overall project budget and timeline. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Manage multiple utility‑scale solar projects Owner interface and resource planning at program level Support superintendents in owner discussions Work with Project Management team for subcontracts Support and mentor direct reports and manage performance reviews Create, distribute, and enforce best practices for Electrical Field Operations Coordinate project completion and closeout Develop and monitor safety initiatives Help manage procurement and engineering schedules Assist Electrical Superintendents in creating project schedules Coordinate shared resources and subcontracted resources across portfolio Work with other departments for resource expectations (QC, commissioning, substation, etc.) Produce budget and schedule reporting Support Project Executive in project change discussions Provide front‑end/design involvement and oversee internal design review Coordinate with Pre‑Construction for site visits Estimate upcoming projects Interview and onboard new salaried personnel Perform other duties as assigned Education & Work Experience Bachelor’s in construction management, engineering or related field (preferred) 5+ years’ experience as a General Superintendent on utility‑scale solar projects Journeyman or master’s electric license (including NASCLA or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire STS‑C Certification (minimum) or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire Experience supervising multiple direct reports and exceptional project‑team leadership Job Title: Solar Senior Electrical Superintendent Job Location: Multi‑state, requires high travel Classification: Full‑time – Exempt – Salaried Reports To: Vice President of Electrical Field Operations Moss is an equal‑opportunity employer.
