UCX is currently seeking a Credit Administrator. A part of the credit team, the Credit Administrator, contributes to the efficient management of Haines' credit operations. Credit Administrator is responsible for monitoring credit accounts and collaborating with various internal teams to maintain healthy business relationships with customers. The Credit Administrator mitigates credit risk through compliance with credit policies and procedures.

Credit Administrator Duties and Responsibilities

Assesses the creditworthiness of existing customers based on financial data, credit reports, payment history, and current business conditions.

Efficiently monitor and manage existing credit accounts, reviewing payment patterns, and identifying potential risks or delinquencies.

Review and approve order shipments.

Maintain open lines of communication with customers regarding payments, order releases, disputes, and other credit-related inquiries.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit files; include trade-credit reports, and provide regular updates to management on credit portfolio performance.

Ensure compliance with company credit policies and legal requirements.

Assist with publishing various reports to be presented to various levels of management.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a business-related field is preferred.

2 years of experience in credit administration, accounts receivable, customer service, or a related business role is preferred.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess credit risk and make data-driven decisions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
