Master Data Administrator

As a Master Data Administrator, you will ensure that SAP vendor and customer master data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company practices and policies. You will interface with multiple levels of management and report directly to the Supply Chain Advisor. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of the data across the organization. Essential Duties / Functions Maintain the safety and security of the organizations network database, ensuring the correct data integration and processing, and monitoring the feasibility of data requirements An understanding of and adherence to master data governance, policies, and procedures Review of incoming requests for completeness and accuracy Develop and maintain data quality control procedures Perform regular audits of data to ensure accuracy and completeness Understanding of Risk Management Assisting with internal/external audit activities Identification and appropriate follow up of opportunities for increased accuracy, efficiencies, standardization, and rationalization of master data Ensuring accuracy and proper storage of Tax and Banking documentation Meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements regarding timeliness of processing vendor data new / change requests Identification and support of vendor data cleansing activities Supports Supply Chain and Finance-Accounts Payable with vendor management including new vendor set-up and changes to the vendor master Supports Finance-Accounts Payable, Commercial, and Settlements with customer management including new Customer set-up and changes to the Customer master Responsible for the resolution of any problems or issues arising Excellent customer service while interfacing with customers and suppliers Maintains documentation and records per records retention policy Responsible for updating process guidelines and procedures related to job role Identifies, develops, and implements opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements Develops, implements, and monitors KPIs/control reports Ensures controls are in place to prevent conflicts of interest Minimum education required High school diploma or GED required Bachelors or Associates degree in business related discipline preferred Minimum experience required 5 to 10 years related SAP Vendor and/or Customer Master Data Maintenance Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities Ability to take ownership, think independently and perform task with minimal supervision Ability to interface with multiple organizations and various levels of management Skills in Microsoft office environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Punctuality, flexibility and a sense of urgency Process Improvement Required job competencies Detail Oriented Communication Planning and Organizing Thoroughness Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position SAP Master Data Governance or MDM a Plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
