Job Description

Polyglass USA, Inc., a premiere roofing materials manufacturer, has an opening for a Regional Sales Leader located in New York, New Jersey area. We are seeking this role to be responsible for coordinating sales and marketing activities in a defined geographical area.

What You Get To Do:

  • Ensures each territory meets quarterly and annual requirements for top line budgeted revenue and contribution margin.
  • Analyzes sales statistics and data, sets sales objectives for DSM's, Independent Representatives and monitors their progress.
  • Identifies market potential and makes recommendations for new and existing products.
  • Leads the regions efforts in support of the Polyglass contractor program.
  • Implements strategy across sales territories.
  • Conducts one on one, MBO and specific KPI review with each territory, includes DSM's and Independent Representatives.
  • Conducts regular sales calls and shadows DSM's and Independent Representatives.
  • Provides periodic reports and/or market analysis to support an appropriate course of action.
  • Leads DSM's and independent rep groups in the form of training and direction to create an atmosphere of responsible growth in sales.
  • Executes market moves and pricing changes when necessary to defend share and maintain volume and throughput.
  • Performs other duties as required.
What We Look For:
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of industry sales experience or any equivalent combination of related training and experience is required; previous experience managing other sales representatives is required.
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Extensive travel to various customers is required.
  • Travel to various facilities on an intermittent basis.
  • Bonus: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or the equivalent is preferred.
  • Bonus: Sales supervisory experience.
