A Westside financial services firm is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. In this newly created role, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounting reconciliations, some invoicing, and supporting month-end close and the general ledger. To be successful in this Staff Accountant role, the candidate must have great presentation, communication skills, and a desire to learn. Does this sound like you or someone you can recommend? What do you need for this Staff Accountant role?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel
  • Familiarity with an ERP would be helpful
What will you need in this Staff Accountant role?
  • Assist with preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close
  • Maintain and update financial records while ensuring their accuracy and compliance
  • Assist the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Monitor AR and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Assist with variance analysis
  • Assist with annual audit
