Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnosis of injuries and illnesses.
- Provide preventative care and education to patients and their families, utilizing all available resources to promote health and wellness.
- Practice medicine with empathy and respect, caring for patients without discrimination.
- Immunize and vaccinate patients against communicable diseases, adhering to standard of care and recommended guidelines.
- Collaborate with consulting physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and coordination.
- Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and staff meetings to continuously improve patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and concise documentation of patient encounters, adhering to CHC's standards and regulatory requirements.
- Meet productivity and performance standards, including a minimum of 4,200 encounters per fiscal year and cost per medical encounter compliance.
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a family medicine/pediatric residency in an accredited program.
- Active South Carolina medical license.
- Board certified or Board eligible.
