If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level.Job Description:Job Summary*This position services the territory of Grand Junction, CO* This position develops and manages a portfolio of customers in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) within a specific geographical area.Responsibilities:Searches and develops potential clients to meet monthly and annual sales targets.Makes contact by telephone or email to obtain the initial information about the potential customer and then sets up in person appointments.Explores customer needs and presents UPS services.Negotiates and prepares a comprehensive logistics solution for the customer.Focuses on retaining and penetrating active clients in portfolio.Completes maintenance, problem resolution, and sales management of client portfolio.Monitors sales through the drafting and updating of reports and internal systems.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or International equivalent - PreferredB2B sales experience - PreferredMeets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicleCommunication skillsWilling to travelMicrosoft Office skillsAvailability to work flexible hours and provides own vehicle for businessEmployee Type:PermanentUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.Other Criteria: UPS is an equal opportunity employer. Actual compensation is based on various factors such as location, job-related knowledge, skills, education/training, and work experience. This position is eligible for our sales incentive plan and offers the annual management incentive plan, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Incentives are not guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and/or company performance.
