Medical Laboratory Technician

Position Highlights:

  • You may be eligible for a sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment.
  • This position is eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money.

Job Summary

  • Perform routine clinical laboratory tests and basic clinical laboratory functions with expediency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Medical Lab Technology from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Related experience and/or training preferred.

Certification and Licensure:

  • Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP or AMT required within 12 months of hire.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday & Friday 8-5; Tuesday & Thursday 7-5; Wednesday 8-6.
  • No weekends, holidays, or call.
  • Full-time; 80 hours/2 weeks.
