Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Access Health Chamberlain. As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine clinical laboratory tests and basic clinical laboratory functions with expediency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP or AMT within 12 months of hire.
  • 6-12 months of related experience and/or training preferred.

Work Schedule

  • Monday & Friday 8-5; Tuesday & Thursday 7-5; Wednesday 8-6
  • No weekends, holidays, or call
  • Full-time; 80 hours/2 weeks
