What to Expect Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer for the Optimus Foundations Team to help develop low latency and highly reliably connectivity to the bot. The role involves embedded software design and development of wireless systems across cellular (LTE and 5G), Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth technologies for Optimus. The position requires working closely with cross‑functional teams. Ability to work independently, and creatively solving challenging design problems is of paramount importance. This position involves working in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment with tight timing constraints. What You'll Do Contribute to Tesla's Cellular wireless connectivity stack (LTE/5G) Develop telemetry and analytics platform enabling data collection, analysis and visualization of data reported from the fleet Contribute to test automation frameworks to validate existing and new connectivity features Provide support to QA, manufacturing, and other software teams Contribute to rapid prototyping and evaluation of Tesla's next generation wireless platforms.
