Job Title: Senior Director Commercial BankingLocation: RenoWhat you'll do:As a Senior Director, you'll hold a senior leadership role responsible for executing the division's strategic plan and guiding your team to meet the Bank's growth and customer retention targets. Your team will include Commercial Bankers, Business Development Officers, and Portfolio Management staff, focusing on expanding market share, growing the portfolio, and strengthening customer relationships. You will lead the development of the Private Banking team's portfolio within the Regional Banking business line. While a significant part of your role involves working with your network and top-tier customers, you'll also support your team in credit structuring, portfolio health management, and market responsiveness.Support the Division CEO in executing the Bank's strategic plan, focusing on growing the loan and deposit portfolios in your region or business line, measured by sales objectives, portfolio health, and market management.Implement the tactical strategies set by the Division CEO regarding transaction pitches and term sheet negotiations. Oversee credit structuring, customer assessment, and presentations to loan committees.Manage portfolio health proactively, addressing deteriorating loan performance, market risks, service delivery issues, and product adoption.Build strong relationships with senior leaders across departments such as Credit, Risk Management, Loan Administration, and external partners, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and excellent customer service.Lead and develop your team through hiring, coaching, performance management, and training.What you'll need:Minimum 9 years of related experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Leadership experience.Expertise in banking operations, including deposits, loans, treasury management, and other commercial banking products.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards.Market-specific awareness of commercial credit, loan structuring, and pricing.Excellent communication skills.Willingness to travel up to 50%.Compensation: Salary range for new hires in Reno is approximately $151,935 - $187,685, depending on location.
