Department: Quality Control / Production

Job Summary: The Inspector Packer is responsible for ensuring the quality and packaging of products. This role involves inspecting products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards, and packing them according to company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspection:

    • Inspect products on the production line for defects, including cracks, discolorations, and other imperfections.
    • Use visual inspection techniques and tools to ensure products meet quality standards.
    • Identify and report defective products to the appropriate personnel for further review.
  2. Packing:

    • Pack products into designated packaging materials and containers according to company specifications.
    • Ensure products are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
    • Label packages accurately with relevant product information.
  3. Quality Control:

    • Follow established quality control procedures and guidelines.
    • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
    • Work closely with the Quality Control team to implement improvements and corrective actions.
  4. Safety and Cleanliness:

    • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
    • Participate in safety training and meetings as required.
  5. Team Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to achieve production goals.
    • Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and management regarding any issues or concerns.
  6. Other Duties:

    • Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor or management.
    • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality control role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Basic math skills for counting and recording quantities.
  • Ability to lift and move packages as required.
