Job Title: Sales Applications Engineer, Quote Estimation SupportJob DescriptionThe primary responsibility of this position is to support the Applications Management team in generating quotes and proposals. This involves engaging with R&D, Procurement, and other commercial team members to ensure seamless operations.ResponsibilitiesSupport the creation of quotes and proposals by collaborating with the Commercial team, including Applications managers, customer service, and account managers, as well as R&D.Manage the workflow of quotes using the Sales Force software package.Work closely with Procurement to clarify component sourcing, which may involve direct contact with potential suppliers.Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and enhance workflow.Essential SkillsQuoting and manufacturing expertise.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.A minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering, sales, or a combination of both.Demonstrated success in a previous product or business generation role.Ability to work independently and be highly accountable for personal performance.Fluent English communication skills, both written and oral.Proficiency in computer applications.Additional Skills & QualificationsMBA is helpful but not required.Experience working in a regulated environment is a plus.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
