You will work within a fast-paced team delivering end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence. We are seeking a Senior Software Platform Engineer to serve as a key technical contributor on a Platform as a Service (PaaS) team supporting application integration at a customer site. This role focuses on building, operating, and evolving platform capabilities that enable development teams to reliably deploy, operate, and scale applications in containerized environments. Responsibilities Serve as a platform engineering contributor within an integration team at the customer site Support the integration and deployment of applications into containerized PaaS environments Design and implement deployment strategies across development, test, and operational systems Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting secure and repeatable application delivery Integrate development tools for: Artifact management Automated testing Code quality and security analysis Troubleshoot deployed applications and platform services; perform root-cause analysis Work closely with other engineers and integration team members to resolve technical issues Interface with customer stakeholders to support platform operations and application onboarding Contribute to platform documentation, standards, and best practices Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions Support continuous improvement, automation, and platform reliability efforts Perform other duties as assigned
