Latitude is looking for California-barred and based lawyers with 4+ years of personal injury defense litigation experience for an engagement position with a boutique law firm. The job is fully remote. The successful candidate should enjoy working as part of a dynamic team and have significant litigation experience handling written discovery, motion work, depositions and court hearings. Responsibilities Drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence Handle all aspects of discovery Efficiently and competently research legal issues Communicate clearly both orally and in writing to colleagues and clients Qualifications 4+ years of litigation experience at a personal injury defense law firm Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing J.D. from an accredited law school Outstanding references Position Details Type of Role: Engagement or Engagement to Permanent Schedule: Part-Time, Full-Time or anything in between Location: Remote (but must reside in California) Compensation Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $135,000 to $175,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference. Benefits: Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available.
