We are looking for Assemblers to produce product based on a work instruction and inspection criteria given, in a safe and timely manner. Help supervision to continuously improve the companys manufacturing ability to conform to customer delivery, quality, production, and cost requirements.
Responsibilities:- Read and understand all work orders and job instructions.
- Know the safety features of each workstation and how to safely operate them.
- Understand all product requirements and be able to inspect for quality.
- Know how to calculate standard rate.
- Complete all paperwork properly.
- Stay at your station unless on break to keep the machines running at all times.
- Able to handle manual labor and repetitive motions.
- Package product per customer requirements (When packaging).
- Clean machine and work area.
- Clean entire work area at the end of the shift.
- Keep work center clear of anything not used for each process as you go.
- Apply 5S in your immediate work area and throughout the department.
- Understand use and care for gauges and other measurement devices used.
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and strength
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
