- Assists or accomplishes all maintenance needs in units and common areas of the facility.
- Performs minor routine repairs in general facility and apartment units.
- Reports maintenance inventory status.
- Performs minor modifications, carpentry, and painting work.
- Conducts preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, changing belts, cleaning, filter change, and other projects.
- Utilizes a wide variety of hand and portable power tools.
- Performs apartment renovations, including painting, cleaning, and repairing.
- Conducts inspections and annotates posted log results.
- Performs on-call duties as assigned.
- Works independently for shift coverage, as requested.
- Recognizes and reports concerns regarding residents' physical, mental, and emotional status to supervisor.
- You enjoy working with people and have strong interpersonal skills.
- You can use tact and courtesy in dealing with residents under sometimes trying conditions. You can show patience and understanding.
- You like your days do be varied, can handle a fast-paced environment, and don't mind working under pressure.
