Job Summary This position manages an assigned territory of core Foremost Independent Agencies, including responsibilities to prospect and appoint new agencies, drive profitable premium growth, and achieve financial and operational goals. This role develops and manages agency partnerships and serves as the primary relationship between the agency and the company, promoting a suite of Foremost products and services across an assigned territory. It may mentor or coach less experienced team members to support peer learning but has no supervisory responsibilities. The position is remote with required weekly field travel. Workplace: Field/Remote. Essential Job Functions Owns and manages assigned territory driving profitable growth to achieve financial and operational targets, leading territory plans and agency management processes. Builds and cultivates mutually beneficial agency partnerships in person, using a consultative sales framework, and serves as a trusted advisor delivering product, underwriting philosophy, appetite, and system training. Creates high quality agency strategies and plans, holding agents accountable to achieve written premium, profit, and new business goals, while aligning with carrier consolidation and product rollout initiatives. Utilizes internal reporting tools and marketing programs to support agency growth, addresses profitability concerns, and collaborates with business partners to capitalize on opportunities. Provides subject matter expertise to identify and share competitor and industry intelligence, and may mentor less experienced team members in peer learning. Physical Actions Job performed in‑person at a Farmers office or virtually at an approved alternative location, including field visits to customers. Frequent sitting or standing for prolonged periods; may involve lifting up to 50 pounds, using fine motor tasks, and traveling between locations. Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Independent Agent Distribution Experience. Experience Requirements Minimum five years of field insurance sales and management experience with progressing responsibility.
