Dental Receptionist

**Appointment Scheduling**: - Coordinate patient appointments - Manage scheduling conflicts and ensure optimal use of the dentist's time

**Treatment Presentation**: - Present treatment plans to patients, explaining procedures, costs, and payment options
- Answer patient questions regarding treatment options, financing, and insurance coverage

**Patient Communication**: - Communicate with patients regarding appointment reminders, follow-ups, and treatment updates
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues related to appointments or billing

**Billing and Insurance**: - Assist with patient insurance verification and billing
- Process payments, file insurance claims, and follow up on outstanding claims

**Administrative Support**: - Maintain patient records, including updating health histories and treatment plans in Dentrix
- Assist with general office duties, such as answering phones, greeting patients, and maintaining a clean reception area
Essential Skills: - **Proficiency in Dentrix**: Must be skilled in using Dentrix software for scheduling, treatment plan management, and patient recordkeeping
- **Customer Service**: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients and provide a welcoming environment
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to multitask and manage time effectively, ensuring smooth office operations
- **Communication**: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, especially when presenting treatment options
- **Attention to Detail**: Ensure all patient information, billing, and scheduling details are accurate
Previous experience in a dental office setting is required, with familiarity in working with Dentrix being a key qualification
