**Job Overview:**
The Team Lead at Lyon Metal Roofing's Greeneville, TN location is responsible for overseeing and coordinating warehouse operations, ensuring efficient order management, customer service, and inventory control. Operating within the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework developed by Gino Wickman, the Team Lead will play a key role in maintaining an organized warehouse environment, supporting customer needs, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Warehouse Management:** Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring proper organization, storage, and handling of inventory to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
2. **Customer Service:** Assist and manage customer interactions, including loading customer orders, addressing inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. **Order Management:** Process and coordinate orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer requests.
4. **Inventory Control:** Monitor and maintain inventory levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure stock availability.
5. **Safety Compliance:** Uphold safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse employees, conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions as needed.
6. **Team Leadership:** Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, optimizing performance, fostering teamwork, and ensuring a positive work environment.
7. **Reporting and Analysis:** Prepare and analyze inventory and order management reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
8. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Collaborate with other departments, including sales, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination of activities and alignment with organizational goals.
9. **Employee Development:** Support the professional development and training of warehouse employees, identifying skill gaps and providing coaching and mentorship to foster career growth.
10. **Continuous Improvement:** Participate in EOS meetings and initiatives, contributing ideas and insights to drive continuous improvement and strengthen overall warehouse operations.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control principles, and safety protocols.
- Experience working within the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework by Gino Wickman is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Organizational skills with proficiency in order management and inventory tracking systems.
- Proven track record of maintaining efficient warehouse operations and achieving customer satisfaction.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
