OverviewHead of Industry Marketing, Automotive & Manufacturing, AWS Industry Marketing. Base pay range: $168,300.00/yr - $278,200.00/yr.Are you passionate about how technology can be used to solve business problems within automotive and manufacturing? AWS Industry Marketing helps automotive and manufacturing customers transform their businesses using our cloud services, generative AI, industry solutions, and partners. AWS seeks a technically-minded, results-oriented leader to develop, lead, and execute our global marketing strategy and programs for automotive and manufacturing sectors. The role leads a global team of marketing experts focused on industry-specific product marketing, field and account-based marketing, digital marketing, global industry campaigns, executive programs, and presence at global events and tradeshows. The candidate will partner with product and sales leadership to shape and position AWS services, solutions, and partner offerings to transform manufacturing operations and automotive innovation.The team will develop differentiated value propositions backed by compelling reasons to believe that position AWS as the product for automotive and manufacturing use cases. They will create world-class industry content, technical storytelling, and experiences that scale across AWS Marketing channels to demonstrate value to decision makers. The role will drive awareness, deliver pipeline, and foster advocacy within the automotive and manufacturing industries. The candidate will define success metrics, measurement methods, and reporting processes, and will work with a broad set of stakeholders in a rapidly growing business.ResponsibilitiesLead, inspire and oversee the global automotive and manufacturing industry marketing teamDevelop compelling and differentiated value propositions and narratives combining AWS industry expertise, services and solutions for automotive and manufacturingDrive product and customer stories through industry channels and ensure delivery through digital channels, campaigns, analysts, press, events, and stakeholdersUse market insights and competitive analysis to shape product, sales, go-to-market, and industry marketing approachDevelop and deliver consumable, impactful sales tools for AWS sales and go-to-market teamsDevelop, support, and deliver keynotes at industry conferences and tradeshows; ensure AWS has the right content and spokespersons to communicate industry valueCollaborate with partner community to define solutions investment areas, develop value propositions, and support partner marketing deliveryBuild and maintain relationships with executives, customers and industry analystsBasic Qualifications10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experienceExperience managing teamsExperience using data and metrics to drive improvementsExperience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teamsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of Photoshop, video editing, and related toolsExperience in inter-team collaboration to develop partnerships with partners and tech teams; ability to operate at leadership levelsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
