Overview Consulting Director - Client Delivery & Practice Growth at Centric Consulting. This role focuses on driving client success, growing the business, and shaping the culture of the practice in the Charlotte market and beyond. The position blends delivery excellence, business development, and people leadership, working with senior executives and clients to deliver innovative solutions and build trusted partnerships. Responsibilities Client Delivery & Strategic Projects: Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, create roadmaps aligned to business goals, educate leaders on key industry trends, ensure delivery excellence, stakeholder alignment, milestone achievement, and budget governance; participate in project steering committees and coach project leaders on client management and communication; contribute to national-level thought leadership, methodology, tools, and best practices. Business Development & Growth: Drive new business opportunities through networking, thought leadership, and brand-building in the Charlotte market; expand existing accounts by identifying new value opportunities; lead sales pursuits in collaboration with local and national leadership from proposal to contract execution; act as an ambassador for the Centric brand in the professional ecosystem. Practice Leadership & Talent Development: Build and mentor a high-performing consulting team; set clear expectations, provide feedback, and support career development; contribute to national practice initiatives and innovation; foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability; champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in practice management and recruiting. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in management consulting and/or technology delivery with increasing leadership responsibility. Track record of building and growing client accounts, including direct sales and account management. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business challenges into actionable solutions. Demonstrated success leading teams under pressure, with a focus on mentoring and talent development. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior executives and influence stakeholders. Experience with Agile, Scrum, and other project methodologies strongly preferred. Entrepreneurial mindset, high energy, and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
