This role ensures operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client service while acting as a subject matter expert and escalation point for junior team members.Responsibilities:Process loan transactions, including payments, payoffs, and other related activitiesProcess advances and other related disbursements for commercial lending while collaborating with various business units. Ensure accurate approval and timely disbursement to the borrower or agent via wire transfer (international/domestic) or internal transfersWork closely with your team and leadership to propose, develop, and actively contribute to the creation and enhancement of new processes and toolsFocus on improving support workflows, increasing efficiency, and ensuring seamless integration with business operations while aligning with organizational goals and best practicesDevelop a comprehensive understanding and expertise in the financial industry by learning and applying relevant procedures and regulationsEnsure compliance with industry standards while maintaining strict confidentiality and safeguarding customer informationMaintain or exceed established service level standards for customer service, resolve issues and escalate complex issues as neededWork closely with various business units to facilitate and process loan term updates, modifications, and escrow disbursementsEnsure all changes are accurately documented, approved, and executed in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines while maintaining clear communication with relevant stakeholdersReview daily and monthly clearing general ledger reconciliation for accuracyQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred4+ years of experience in commercial loan servicing or commercial lending operationsStrong understanding of commercial loan products, servicing systems, and regulatory frameworksProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan servicing platformsExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detailAxos Employee Benefits May Include:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid Sick Leave, 3 weeks’ Vacation, and Holidays (about 11 a year)HSA or FSA account and other voluntary benefits401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with Employer Match Program and 529 Savings PlanEmployee Mortgage Loan Program and free access to an Axos Bank Account with Self-Directed TradingAbout AxosBorn digital-first, Axos delivers financial tools and services that allow individuals, small businesses, and companies to access and manage their money how, when, and where they want.
