Responsibilities
Preform repairs as directed
Attend training, shop meetings, continue education provided by the manufacturers to improve competence level
Understand and follow Federal, State, and Local regulations
Road test vehicles to quality check work performed
Keep shop area neat and clean and able to account for all dealership owned tools
Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
Document all work performed
Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or maintenance work is required
Diagnose the cause of malfunction
Maintain CSI level established by manufacturer and dealership standards
Qualifications
Some Automotive experience is required
Mechanically inclined
Available full time
Eager to learn and advance in an automotive career
Valid Illinois driver's license with a good driving record
Own or be willing to purchase the basic tools needed to perform job duties
Have a reliable way to get to work
Previous schooling a plus, prefer web/classes
Hours
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Every 3rd Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
