Monaco Ford is looking for a Junior Automotive Service Technician to become a valuable member of our team.
In this position, you will apply your expertise and knowledge in the automotive field to service and maintain vehicles for our clientele.
This is a full-time, hourly role that provides opportunities for professional development and career progression within our organization.Compensation & Benefits:
The salary for this role ranges from $17 to $24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) retirement plan, and employee discounts on various services and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute fundamental automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid inspections
- Perform vehicle assessments and identify mechanical problems
- Carry out repairs and part replacements including brakes, batteries, and filters
- Utilize diagnostic software to detect and resolve issues
- Effectively communicate with team members and clients regarding vehicle repairs and suggestions
- Maintain an organized and tidy workspace and tools
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while servicing vehicles
- Assist with additional tasks as directed by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in the automotive sector or completion of an automotive program is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Familiarity with automotive tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
