Commodities Middle Office with Global Hedge Fund

Our client, a globally leading multi-strategy hedge fund, is looking for an experienced person to join their Commodities focussed Trade Support team in Houston. The company have one of the outstanding reputations in the industry in terms of both performance and culture. Their AUM exceeds over $15bn and they have a global presence in the US, Europe and Asia.
The role itself will be Trade Support/Operations and is a growth hire in the team as they expand their Commodities business. There will excellent opportunities for career progression, as well as learning and development as the role is broad with exposure across different areas of the firm.
In addition, compensation for this role is extremely competitive, with packages that rank among the best in the industry. There is a broad range of company benefits and a hybrid work policy, typically 3 days in the office.
Role Overview
- Trade capture, trade management of processes to analyze and support internal customers
- Understanding of front to back processes
- Maintain and build relationships with Executing Brokers, Prime Brokers, Fund Admins, and other counterparties on a daily basis
- Ad-hoc project work for the Portfolio managers
Qualifications & Requirements:
Our client is looking for an exceptional individual with a minimum of 2 years experience in a middle office role in either buy or sell side. Knowledge and experience of commodities products is essential.
