Qualifications:

* Must have a valid Massachusetts driver's license with a driving record in good standing.
* Must be nationally certified in applied food service sanitation- may be acquired in on the
* job training programs with in the first 10 months of employment.
* Ability to read, write and speak English.
* Ability to pick up and lift/carry 60 pounds in weight.
* Ability to successfully pass a physical exam by a physician chosen by the Food and
* Nutrition Services Department.

Responsibilities:

* Receives and checks deliveries.
* Stores food and supplies in department refrigerators and storage areas.
* Maintains, rotates and records inventory.
* Operate Food and Nutrition Services Department vehicles.
* Operate all kitchen production, packaging and cleaning equipment.
* Perform required cleaning tasks.
* Perform simple facility maintenance tasks.
* Prepares food for service.
* Services all Food Service students and customers as needed.
* Possesses good customer service and communication skills.
* Performs all other related tasks as necessary for the operation of a Food Service Facility.

Terms of Employment:

* Full Time
* School Year Schedule
* Union Position / Benefits Eligible
* Compensation: $26.01 per hour

Position Reports to: Assistant Director of Food and Nutrition Services
