Subscribe to our RSS feeds to receive instant updates as new positions become available.PositionThe Ministry Partner Development Coach (MPD) is responsible to equip and coach staff members with the tools needed to successfully grow in knowledge, vision, and skills to fully fund (fundraise) their ministry with East-West. The coach will utilize a biblical foundation (2 Cor. 8:1-5, Luke 9:1-6) that helps to equip new and existing support-raised staff members in best practices for MPD. As an MPD Coach, this position will listen well, ask helpful questions, and encourage staff members in their journey of ministry partner development as well as provide pastoral care as staff journey through a sensitive season in their ministry. The coach will be knowledgeable in current strategies and viewpoints to best equip and coach staff in fundraising practices as well as complete any trainings and conferences necessary to fulfill position requirements and needs.This is a full support-raised position.A day in the life of the MPD CoachProvide fundraising coaching to staff members to help them reach their fundraising goalsMeet regularly with assigned staff members to provide coaching in their fundraising journeyPrayerfully coach and counsel staff members to understand the calling God has for them through fundraising and their ministryMinister to the hearts of missionaries as they move forward in their calling to ministryHost fundraising trainings for new and existing staff membersGuide and equip staff members through biblical foundations, best practices, tools, and proven strategies to successfully set and meet fundraising goalsComplete the training necessary to be a certificated trainerParticipate in annual fundraising conferences to further develop MPD skillsMaintain MPD databaseTrack MPD information including fundraising goals, deadlines, and fundraising percentages for staffReview and analyze submitted fundraising reportsDevelop and maintain a network of personal support (personal support raising)Lead, attend, and/or contribute to East-West sponsored spiritual formation activities and perform other duties as assignedQualifications for the MPD CoachUphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrating a healthy, growing spiritual lifeHigh commitment to, and practices, regular prayer, and time in the WordAbility to travel at least once a year on a mission tripAbility to travel to participate in MPD training, conferences, and meetingsAbility to raise personal support as well as develop and manage personal ministry budgetExperienced in raising personal and ministry supportExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent phone skillsAbility to listen wellExperienced with one-on-one ministryExperienced with providing pastoral careCommitted to timely communication and follow up with staff membersAdministrative SkillsAbout East-WestAt East-West, we have one consuming passion: to make God known among every nation, every tribe, every tongue, and every people.
