Location: Adams Memorial Hospital **Description**

In absence of a supervisor or manager, the Lead takes responsibility for all areas of the department **.** The Lead supervises employees who prepare and serve meals; this includes supervision and instruction in maintaining high standards of sanitation, housekeeping, safety as well as operation and care of equipment. The supervisor ensures caf operation quality standards for both food and service are met and inspects point of service areas to ensure proper procedures are followed and patient and customer needs are met. The lead also performs Nutrition Assistant duties when the situation requires.

**Minimum Requirements**

**Shift and Weekend Differential pay offered for this position**

40 hours per week

Every other weekend and holiday required

High School Graduate or the equivalent required

CDM within 1 year required

At least basic cooking skills, ability to follow a recipe, and attention to detail.

Works around areas and equipment of abnormal temperatures

Requires extensive-standing

Requires full range of body motion including but not limited to, standing, walking, sitting, hand and finger dexterity, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms, etc. Some heavy lifting
