Technical Product Manager

This role will be the liaison between the technical development teams and the business. They as a Data Applications Development team takes in a lot of requests from the business which are typically related to; New features on existing on systems, thinking through new processes to make the business folks lives easier, new way of tracking things, maybe legal has a new way they want to tackle something and they need to build for that.Length: 6-month contract-to-hireLocation: 100% RemoteAssociate Vendors: We are accepting applications from candidates who are currently authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.Role & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Directors, VPs, and Managers to gather and translate business requests into clear, actionable technical requirements.Distill non-technical requests into user stories, tickets, and tasks in Jira, ensuring clarity for the development team.Support the maturity of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by improving processes and workflow management.Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and developers, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and assist in project management, ensuring smooth execution of tasks.Gather, document, and refine business requirements, creating detailed user stories and requirement documents.Work closely with developers to create structured project plans, especially for complex or long-term initiatives.Help establish a standardized Jira tracking system, ensuring efficient workflow and ticket management.Adapt to an evolving environment, driving process improvements and optimizing work intake and execution.Support the Salesforce optimization initiative, eventually taking on user requests related to page layouts, flows, and system enhancements as the organization transitions from vendor support.Required QualificationsAbility to Understand a request and transform it into a requirements ticket (They will have developers and the manager to support them).Solid understanding of what ETL means, what the purpose is.Understanding DevOps and the process and CI/CD and how they want to be a more agile team and continuously develiver items.Agile is very important for them. This is the direction they are going. Because they get complex requests and the requirements change mid flow all the time.Understanding of the Software Development lifecycle is also very important.
