About This RoleWe believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:ResponsibilitiesProvide test engineering support to identify and develop necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities in accordance with customer specifications and requirements for both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighterRequirements gathering and analysis based on engineering design documentationInterface with product development and systems teams to determine appropriate test strategy and coverage for functional requirementsFulfill daily responsibilities including research and developing electrical design concepts performance calculations, and hands-on support of lab testing and troubleshootingGrowth in electrical engineering expertise as opportunities in analog and digital circuits, cable design, debugging of electrical assemblies are presentedPerform data collection activities including setup and operation of high-speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recordersDevelop aspects of test stations utilizing state of the art PXI, LAN, USB and other instrumentation in a context of automated parametric measurementsUtilize textural scripting languages for programming low level instrumentation for measurements gatheringAssist with the design, develop, and document test equipment required for new and existing electronic products and assist with transition of this equipment to Production Test EngineeringAuthor process, test, documentation, and calibration procedures geared for all audiencesMust have strong written and verbal communications skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and minimum of 2+ years of related experienceActive Secret clearance preferred; Secret eligibility requiredHow We CareAt Textron Systems, our talented people make us successful.
