Employer Industry: Information Technology Services Why consider this job opportunity: Salary up to $148,500 per year Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Flexible remote work arrangement with occasional local commuting Engage in challenging and impactful projects that solve real business problems Collaborative work environment that values open communication and problem-solving Chance to work with cutting-edge technology and methodologies in business analysis What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Utilize knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile, to write and groom user stories using JIRA and Confluence Conduct and direct business problem analysis to be addressed with IT and software systems Decompose high-level business and user requirements into detailed systems requirements Lead Joint Application Design Sessions to gather software requirements from stakeholders Develop and maintain business and technical solution documentation defining application functionalities What is Required (Qualifications): Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a closely related field, plus 3 years of professional business analysis experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields plus 5 years of experience 3 years of experience in Java 3 years of experience in SQL and writing SQL queries in MS SQL Server and Oracle 2 years of experience writing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) 2 years of experience working with MS Project and MS Visio How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Knowledge of Agile project methodologies and Scrum Familiarity with User Experience concepts such as design for usability Experience in data warehouse modeling and data mapping Ability to facilitate requirements gathering meetings Sound knowledge of relational database design structure concepts and IT systems architecture patterns #J-18808-Ljbffr
