Join to apply for the Senior Analyst, GSE Production role at Walker & Dunlop. The Multifamily Finance experts work with correspondents, brokers, and borrowers nationwide to originate loans. Multifamily Finance coordinates with Underwriting, Closing, and Asset Management to close new loans and retain existing clients. Primary Responsibilities Input and model multifamily data and create Narrative Packages for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other capital sources. Work within DUS Gateway and Freddie Mac OUS systems to upload quote packages. Assist in organizing marketing efforts, including writing press releases, creating deal ‘tombstones’ and coordinating with W&D marketing for client events. Manage, maintain, and update the pipeline report. Maintain production team’s Salesforce entries for all new and existing loans and clients. Find clients’ SREO’s for refinance opportunities. Track all quotes and prepare debt matrices for client presentation. Assist the production team in tracking deals during underwriting. Conduct property tours as needed. Participate in weekly production meetings. Complete Lost Deal information in Salesforce. Prepare transition memos on all deals after a signed application. Participate in kick‑off meetings with producer, underwriter, and closer for all loans under application. Serve as liaison between production, underwriting, and closing as deals are processed. Interface with clients, mortgage brokers, lenders, and other lending participants. Travel to industry events, client meetings, and property inspections/tours as required. Communicate and problem‑solve with teammates, clients, vendors, and stakeholders, often in combination with travel. Perform additional duties as assigned. Attend Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST, with the ability to work up to two days remotely. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree (prefer finance and/or real‑estate concentration). 2+ years of financial analyst experience with a commercial real‑estate owner, broker, appraiser, or financial institution. Multifamily agency experience (plus). Proficiency in MS Word, Salesforce, and SharePoint. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent financial modeling skills with thorough knowledge of MS Excel. Strong written and oral communication skills. Detail‑oriented, organized, and accurate. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work productively in time‑sensitive situations. Good concept of financial analysis of income‑producing real estate. Good organization and analytical skills. Exhibit teamwork and cooperation. Show ownership of work, take on challenges, acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes. Salary and Benefits The position has an estimated base salary of $70,000 – $80,000, plus discretionary production incentives. Compensation is based on relevant work experience, applicable knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
