Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Hybrid Operating Room Technician, you will perform, and demonstrate your professional knowledge to provide care for our patients served in the Cath Lab department. We pride ourselves in knowing that our employees are compassionate, kind and deliver high quality, patient centered care. Our team is considered a “family” who works hard to support each other where the patients are the center of all we do.

  • You will be responsible for organizing, problem solving, informing, consulting, supporting, and networking.
  • You will work with the staff and physicians, assessing the situations, assist with problem solving and prevention, prioritization and contingency planning.
  • You will be responsible for the interventional vascular cases primarily in the Hybrid OR with support to vascular cases in the Cath Lab. 

What qualifications you will need:
  • Prefer registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and maintain current registration with said organization.
  • Basic and advanced EKG courses.
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred. Prefer years of experience in performing advanced interventional vascular procedures.
  • Knowledge of proper sterile technique. Knowledge of vascular anatomy. Strong knowledge of hemodynamcis and monitoring. Able to troubleshoot, teach and use Volcano, uvus, Merge and Allura Xper FD20 System.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification

St. Mark's has expanded emergency access to the communities we serve with two free standing emergency centers, Taylorsville Emergency Center and West Valley Emergency Center. Both locations have 10 plus patient rooms are staffed 24/7 by experienced board-certified emergency room physicians, nurses and support teams from St. Mark's Hospital. In addition to ER care, both facilities give comprehensive imaging services, including computerized tomography (CT scan), Xray, and ultrasound as well as a fully-equipped medical laboratory.
