What to Expect Thermal R&D is responsible for system level thermal architecture (including radiators, refrigerant heat exchangers, compressors, fans, pumps, etc.) supporting the cabin, battery, and powertrain across all Tesla vehicles. We are seeking technically qualified and highly motivated engineers in the field of Thermal Engineering as applied to automotive Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Qualified individual will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers to deliver innovative, best in class thermal components and systems with optimum efficiency, performance, reliability, and safety.
