Well‑founded know‑how in the development, production and processing of polyurethanes, flexibility in the procurement of raw materials and a European team with decades of experience make us a reliable and powerful partner - and an attractive employer with a wide range of career opportunities.As Head of Operations & Supply Chain Management (OSCM) in the Netherlands and in Belgium, you devise and implement the strategy for PLIXXENT Operations & Supply Chain. You will ensure that PLIXXENT has the capacity required to execute the business plans and meet the requirements of regulators, customers and other stakeholders. You will ensure day‑to‑day execution of the departments and lead the Maintenance Team Leader, Production Team Leader and SCC Team Leader. Together, you will ensure product availability, high quality products which will be delivered on time and complete, with the optimal management of human and financial resources. In this position you report to the Managing Director of NL and B as well the Executive Director of OSCM.Your key tasks will be:Ensure correct Order Management, Production Planning, Purchasing, Disposition, Foreign Trade, Side Line Business flows towards maximum transactional efficiency.Ensure Manufacturing, (process) engineering & maintenance organization keeps safety, timing, quality, and cost standards.Provides the structure from a Daily Operating Meeting (DOM) to Budget, including a solid Management Control and Reporting Structure (MCRS) based on financial reporting, KPIs, Capex, CAR (corrective action register) and projects. This in collaboration with the Managing Director and Controller.Ensure continuous improvement (i.e., through Lean) in Operations and Supply Chain fields.Manage operations and supply chains effectively in such businesses experience shorter lead times and reduced inventory levels.Ensure capacity and capability plans for staffing levels, OT solutions and outsourcing are timely, cost effective, operationally effective and support customer requirements.Manage CAPEX investments and maintenance in an efficient and effective manner, keeping costs according to budgetMaintain adequate staff of skilled personnel ensuring adequate people development through training and substitution and team organization.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry or a similar educational backgroundAt least 5 years’ experience in a similar positionFluent in Dutch and advanced English and/or German skillsGood knowledge in MS Office and SAP S/4HANAExcellent communication and interpersonal skills and a team player with customer and service orientationLeadership skills which make the difference in our adaptive and agile working environmentProactivity and goal-oriented focusAnalytical with a structured approach as well as high credibility and trustworthinessAbility to work on differing tasks, meet deadlines when under pressure in a fast-paced environmentEnjoy working in an international companyWHAT WE OFFERAt PLIXXENT, we offer you a modern working environment and all the benefits of a medium-sized international company in startup mode.
