We seek an Administrative Analyst who will support the Director with scheduling, budgeting, and operational coordination. The role combines administrative support, budget oversight, and collaborative service delivery to students and campus partners. About the Position The office is committed to supporting student engagement and community involvement. The Administrative Analyst will provide substantial administrative support to the Director, manage budgets, coordinate travel, and act as a liaison to Human Resources, Inclusive Excellence, and other campus departments. Responsibilities Schedule and administratively support the Director’s calendar. Lead support staff and monitor unit budgets, producing forecasting and projection reports for State, Philanthropic Foundation, State Budget, and Student Success Initiative Fees. Initiate and process budget documents, authorizations, requisitions, and disbursements, including invoices, checks, travel, and payroll. Oversee operational procedures to deliver services to students, departments, and employers and conduct day‑to‑day administrative coordination. Act as the department’s primary liaison to key campus departments. Manage the venue approval process for outdoor venues, classrooms, athletic facilities, and Kinesiology classrooms, providing excellent customer service to campus and community guests. Analyze and prepare complex data for operating and financial reports, including time and attendance records, travel and expense reports, and personnel files. Provide recommendations and improvements based on data analysis. Coordinate purchasing, deposits, account maintenance, and student employee hiring, training, and oversight. Plan travel arrangements, reservations, itineraries, and meetings, retreats, and training events. Participate in meetings, training sessions, retreats, planning conferences, and other professional development activities. Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year institution or equivalent experience involving analysis, evaluation, or improvement of administrative policies and procedures. Demonstrated knowledge of budget policies and procedures, statistical analysis, business mathematics, and policy application. Proven ability to analyze data, make projections, write reports, and maintain cooperative working relationships. Must pass a satisfactory background check. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of CSUF policies and procedures related to budget, finance, travel, purchasing, foundation, advancement, and attendance. Experience in a fast‑paced environment and with risk‑management procedures such as insurance protocols. Critical thinking skills to improve operations and problem‑solve independently.
