This role involves a mix of technical expertise, project management, and client interaction. You will play a key part in ensuring safety compliance, delivering high-quality geotechnical solutions, and driving business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations (OSHA, MSHA, and site-specific standards). Perform and manage field quality control tests and maintain accurate production records. Resolve drawing interpretation issues, conflicts, and errors. Conduct basic field surveys, prepare sketches, and support construction activities. Prepare RFIs, assist with change orders, and support claim analysis. Ensure installations adhere to quality control standards. Track invoices, manage documentation, and handle proper submittals. Collaborate with engineering teams on geotechnical and structural analysis. Develop new business opportunities and maintain client relationships. Prepare geotechnical designs, cost estimates, and proposals for ground improvement solutions. Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and architects throughout the sales process. Negotiate contract terms and support marketing efforts through trade shows and technical presentations. Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of geotechnical design principles and calculations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with AutoCAD. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to observe and work diligently in dynamic environments. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related field. Prior experience in geotechnical construction or related techniques is a plus. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Lift up to 25 lbs and traverse job sites in varying weather conditions.
