Depending on the portfolio you may also be responsible for leading a team of project managers as well.The VP, IT Project Management WillLead a high performing PMO team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountabilityProvide program leadership, guidance, and manage all aspects of a given portfolio including budget, reporting, vendor oversight, and project deliveryOversee the successful delivery of key strategic complex projects and initiatives across teams and portfoliosIdentify, design, and lead continuous delivery improvements efforts by providing input into an operating model framework aligned with modern agile, lean, design thinking, and project management practicesAct as the central point of contact between business leads, stakeholders, and project teamsCreate career development plans and learning opportunities for PMO team members to enhance their skills setsUtilize JIRA expertise to build insightful reports, track progress, identify trends, address challenges proactively and improve team performanceWhat You’ll BringProven track record of leading and growing project managers and PMO processes7+ years of experience leading complex cross functional large scale programs/initiatives3+ years of leading high performing teamsAble to demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of various project management and software delivery methodologies (i.e. agile, waterfall, lean, design thinking)Advanced relationship skills and experience influencing executive leaders across the companyStrong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff, eliciting cooperation across organizations and to be persuasive, encouraging, and motivatingStrong ability to quickly produce professional presentations for executive leadershipExpertise in using agile reporting tools like JIRA & ConfluenceExperience in financial services, mortgage banking, and/or consulting is desiredAgile, Scaled Agile, PMP, or PgMP certifications are desiredWhy You Should JoinAs one of the top mortgage lenders in the country, Pennymac has helped over 4 million lifetime homeowners achieve and sustain their aspirations of home.
